Man Dies in Crash the Night Before Wedding
A 20-year-old man who had just finished decorating a community hall for his wedding was killed in a one-car crash while his fiancee followed in a second car.
Andrew J. Robjohns lost control of his car and hit a utility pole late Friday, police said.
Robjohns and his fiancee, Kathy-Jo Sanders, both of Unionville, N.Y., were to marry Saturday in this community near the New York state line.
Investigators were trying to determine how fast Robjohns was traveling; the speed limit in the area is 35 mph. Skid marks indicate he tried to slow his car, state trooper Steve Kopp said.
