Steven Myers & Associates Inc., the Newport Beach firm that helps engineering and other professional firms win government and commercial contracts, has changed its name to SM&A; Corp.
Steve Myers, chairman and chief executive, said he decided to make the change because clients have been calling the firm by its initials for years and investors have started doing same.
Wonder if that means Myers will be seeking to change the firm’s Nasdaq stock market listing? The 4-letter designation now is WINS. (They help clients win contracts, get it?)
One thing for sure, SMAC is out--it is already taken by Supermac Technology Inc., a Sunnyvale computer graphics firm.
