Free Immunizations Offered by County
Los Angeles Harbor College will offer free immunizations today.
Health care workers will administer vaccines against polio, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella and meningitis.
A tuberculosis test for adults also will be available.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany children to provide information about their medical history and to sign vaccination consent forms. Parents should bring copies of their children’s immunization record.
The free vaccines are provided by the Department of Health Services and are available to all community members--no proof of citizenship or residency is required.
The shots will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the college cafeteria, 1111 Figueroa Place.
