Vigilantes Beat Suns in 10th

Manny Gagliano hit a home run with one out in the top of the 10th to give the Vigilantes a 5-4 victory over the Pacific Suns in a Western League game Thursday at Oxnard College.

The victory moved Mission Viejo (46-38) into a tie for the final playoff spot with Sonoma County (46-38), which lost its fourth consecutive game to Chico, 5-3, Thursday.

Pacific forced extra innings when Rafael Ozuna hit a run-scoring single to tie it, 4-4, with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. The Suns play the Vigilantes Saturday and Sunday at Saddleback College.
