Police are investigating a topless dancer’s accusation that All-Pro offensive lineman Larry Allen forced her to have sex by threatening her with a knife in the parking lot of the Kings’ Cabaret dance club in Dallas.

No charges were filed against Allen, who was in Florida on Thursday night for Dallas’ 42-20 exhibition loss to Jacksonville.

“I’m not talking,” Allen said after the game.

Allen is the fourth member of the Cowboys to be accused by women of sexual assault in less than two years, but no charges were filed against the other players.

The accuser told police that Allen put his hand on a knife that was in his car’s console and forced her to have sex after she went outside the club with him.

Dale Saleeby, the club’s day-shift manager, told The Associated Press that Allen left the club about 5:30 p.m. Monday and the dancer followed him out to his car. He said the woman mentioned nothing out of the ordinary when she returned to the club about 10 minutes later. The woman, however, called police at 7:40 p.m. from her aunt’s house and went to the hospital for an examination.

Meanwhile, an immigration judge deciding whether to deport Nina Shahravan, who falsely accused wide receiver Michael Irvin and offensive lineman Erik Williams of sexual assault in 1996, to her native Iran said he will ask a federal magistrate to issue subpoenas for Irvin and Williams after they failed to appear at a hearing Wednesday. Failure to respond to the subpoenas could lead to criminal contempt charges.

Jeff Danish, a first-year player who was in training camp with the New Orleans Saints, is speaking harshly about injuries he suffered during a hazing incident.

“My worst street fight when I was a little kid wasn’t this bad,” Danish, released earlier this week by the Saints, said from his home in New York City. “I thought the least the Saints could do was wait to release me after my wounds healed. I feel someone should be responsible.

Danish ran through a gantlet of about 20 fist-swinging teammates on the third floor of Sanford Hall at the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse on Aug. 20. Danish said he was struck with a bag of coins, punched, kicked and elbowed.

The 6-foot-5, 282-pound defensive lineman ended up with 13 stitches in his left arm and facial bruises after also going through a window. Danish, like the others, had to wear a pillowcase over his head when he ran the gantlet.

Danish, 23, said he could identify the players involved, but he declined to reveal the names to Saint Coach Mike Ditka.

Washington Redskin officials, with the permission of the Saints, have discussed contract terms with the representatives for Saints’ holdout defensive end Joe Johnson, sources said.

The Redskins are attempting to complete a trade with the Saints for the negotiating rights to Johnson, who has been designated New Orleans’s franchise player and is holding out in a contract dispute.

AFC / Broncos’ Braxton Demoted

Tyrone Braxton, a 12-year veteran and former Pro Bowl safety, has been relegated to a backup role with the Denver Broncos because of the strong showing of rookie Eric Brown.

Brown, a second-round pick out of Mississippi State, started the Broncos’ first exhibition game at St. Louis because of Braxton’s bruised shoulder and had 10 tackles in the second game against New Orleans.

Meanwhile, the Lombardi Trophy, awarded to the Broncos after their Super Bowl victory over the Green Bay Packers, was dented when it fell from an outdoor display a couple of weeks ago.
