Re your Nov. 25 edition: Page A1 had an article about the need to have teachers’ skills improved. Page B2 has an article about the teachers wanting more money.

However, no place is there any mention of the Banning school system raising the reading ability by an average of 2.5 years in the elementary schools with “instructors” working as unpaid volunteers. What do they know that baffles the rest of the state?
