SEAL BEACH
Residents worried about rain-related flooding can pick up sand and empty sandbags for free at several locations.
Sandbags are available at two fire stations--at Central and Eighth streets, and at Beverly Manor Road, near the Seal Beach Boulevard onramp to the San Diego Freeway.
Sand is available at Seal Beach Boulevard near the Naval Weapons Station and the police headquarters/city yard at 911 Seal Beach Blvd. Residents are asked to bring their own shovels.
