Anaheim’s police and fire personnel will turn patrol cars and firetrucks into sleighs as they get into the holiday spirit to feed needy families. The 13th annual “Caroling for Cans” will take place Sunday, beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The group will make the rounds through neighborhoods to collect canned food items and toys. Last year, the officers and firefighters collected 10 tons of canned food, which helped 2,500 Anaheim families.

Canned items or new toys also can be dropped off at any Anaheim Fire Station or at the Police Station’s rear parking lot, 425 S. Harbor Blvd. Information: (714) 765-1918.
