Latino Poets of Los Angeles will have a bilingual celebration of Christmas at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mid-Valley Regional Branch Library, 16244 Nordhoff St., North Hills. Latino poets, writers, musicians and artists will present their work. (818) 895-3650. Free.

Dark Delicacies, 3725 W. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank, (818) 556-6660, which specializes in horror, fantasy and gothic titles, has a full weekend of events planned:

* Actor Chris Duran, who portrays Michael Meyers in the film “Halloween: H20,” will sign photos starting at 7 p.m. Friday. The autographs will cost $5; proceeds benefit the NEVA Foundation, dedicated to helping abandoned and abused animals.

* Artists Sean Coons, Steve Firchow, Joel Harlow, Ken Meyer, Omaha Perez and others will sign “Spectrum 5,” an anthology of modern fantastic artwork, at 2 p.m. Saturday.

* Author Jack Ketchum will sign “The Exit at Toledo Blade Boulevard,” “Right to Life” and his other books, at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Pages, 18399 Ventura Blvd., will host a Fairy Tea Party with author Marla Schram Schwartz for fairy lore enthusiasts ages 3 to 8 at 11 a.m. Saturday. Schwartz will also sign her new book, “Fairy Fun.” A $5 registration fee can be applied for the purchase of “Fairy Fun.” (818) 34-BOOKS.

Wishbone, the canine star of the Emmy-winning PBS show and book series for children, will make a public appearance from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 160 W. Westlake Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Accompanying this prize-winning pooch will be John Hancock, the young winner of the Wishbone Mysteries Sweepstakes. Both will sign Wishbone’s latest, “Disoriented Express.” Due to time constraints, however, Wishbone will be unable to “pawtograph” memorabilia. (805) 446- 2820.
