December Planting List

Share

Granted, your thoughts are probably keyed to the holidays. A number of plants can be added to the landscape this month. Just don’t plant in wet soil. Allow things to dry for four to seven days after rains end. When planting, soil should be moist, never mushy. If the weather is really wet, it’s best to stick to planting in containers. Annuals can thrive in pots, and perennials will do fine until they can be transferred to the ground at a drier time.
