Camarillo Skate Park

This is a thank-you letter to the city of Camarillo from a group of very happy Camarillo residents.

I am a 22-year-old Chico State student visiting my parents’ house in Camarillo. I was so excited when a friend told me the grand opening of the skateboard park was the weekend I was coming home for Thanksgiving. Most of my friends being avid skateboarders, all of them made plans to go there for the opening. I was amazed at the turnout--the place was packed!

Everyone I have talked to has nothing but good things to say about the Camarillo park. It is superbly designed--full of variety and well-spread-out--free of charge and close to home.
