It’s Wrong to Keep Marijuana Illegal

* Re “Clarify Medical Marijuana Law,” the Nov. 29 editorial:

Study after study has shown that marijuana is not “dangerous.” It is one of the more benign substances known to science, certainly more so than alcohol and tobacco.

That alcohol and tobacco are legal while marijuana is not is perpetuated solely out of prejudice and an unwillingness to admit that the government and media have been wrong for so many decades.
