Golf Tournament to Help Schools
Education for the Children Inc., a nonprofit school foundation that supports Wagon Wheel Elementary, Las Flores Elementary, the future high school in Chiquita Canyon and the planned Primary Learning Center in Coto de Caza, is holding its first golf tournament today at the Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start at 10:30. Afterward, there will be a dinner, an awards presentation and live and silent auctions.
The event will raise money to provide small grants for teacher projects and other basic school needs.
