ANAHEIM

* North Magnolia Avenue: An arrest was made in the 400 block at 10:53 p.m. Thursday following a report of a person in possession of “dangerous drugs.”

BREA

* Brea Mall: Someone stole a wallet out of a purse at Robinsons-May office at 4:45 p.m. Friday.

BUENA PARK

* Beach Boulevard: Someone threw a rock through the front window of a bus traveling in the 7900 block at 1:56 p.m. Friday. No one was injured.

COSTA MESA

* Bristol Street: Someone rifled through the contents of a 1990 Toyota Corolla parked in a structure and removed 10 compact discs between 8:45 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Wednesday.

CYPRESS

* Matinicus Court: Someone entered a living room window in the 11300 block and stole about $1,500 in jewelry during a burglary reported at 11:58 p.m. Saturday.

DANA POINT

* Java Sea Drive: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 23000 block at 6:40 p.m. Friday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Gardenia Avenue: Someone vandalized a wooden stove, cradle and plastic play structure on the fenced-in playground of a preschool in the 9300 block Thursday.

FULLERTON

* Deerpark Drive: An auto theft was reported in the 1900 block at 6:13 p.m. Saturday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue: Police arrested two individuals for possessing a concealed, loaded handgun in their vehicle at 12:45 a.m. Friday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Goldenwest Street at Ellis Avenue: A witness reported a hit-and-run that occurred after a man stopped to help a woman whose car had stalled at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. The man got back in his car and sideswiped the woman’s vehicle as he drove away.

IRVINE

* Barranca Parkway: A car’s window was shattered and $30 worth of audio tapes were stolen as it was parked in the 1600 block prior to 2:14 a.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Club Drive: Miscellaneous items were reported stolen when an office complex in the 300 block was broken into and vandalized at 10:10 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Laguna Hills Mall: A burglary alarm was triggered at 9:11 p.m. Thursday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Catamaran Way: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 23000 block at 2:20 p.m. Thursday.

LAKE FOREST

* Imperial Highway at Euclid Street: A motorist was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 6:51 p.m. Saturday.

* Walker Street: A 22-year-old Cerritos man was arrested on outstanding warrants following a traffic stop at 1:08 a.m. Friday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Glacier Circle: A resident reported the theft of a palm tree from his frontyard at 9:19 a.m. Monday.

* Avenida del Presidente: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 2000 block at 12:54 p.m. Friday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Los Rios Street: A burglary alarm was triggered at 9:41 p.m. Friday near La Zanja Street.

SANTA ANA

* West McFadden Avenue: Police arrested several individuals in connection with attempting to steal $10 worth of jewelry from a Wal-Mart store at noon Friday.

SEAL BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: Three men armed with shotguns and handguns robbed a business near 15th Street at 10 p.m. Saturday. No one was injured.

STANTON

* Briarwood Street: A burglary and assault took place in the 12000 block at 4:07 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, the victim, a 48-year-old woman, was asleep when a suspect entered her room and touched her shoulder. She awoke and a struggle ensued as the intruder struck her several times. The victim reached for her revolver in a nearby drawer and fired once at the suspect, who fled unharmed, and remains at large.

TUSTIN

* Myrtle Avenue: Four to five kids ignited fireworks in the 15800 block at 3:26 p.m. Sunday.

VILLA PARK

* Loma Street and Canyon Drive: A report of a party disturbing the peace was made at 8:58 p.m. Friday.

WESTMINSTER

* Hoover and 21st streets: A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession and sale of narcotics at 6:31 p.m. Sunday.

* Walnut Creek Road: A man reported that the cellular phone he placed on a car hood was stolen while he momentarily went inside a house in the 5900 block at 11:21 a.m. Thursday.
