Legal Expert to Talk on Holocaust Assets
A human rights lawyer will speak next month on efforts to recover money and property lost by families of Holocaust victims.
Michael J. Bazyler, professor of international law at Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, will speak to Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot of Irvine on “Assets of the Holocaust: Search for Justice” during the Jan. 22 Shabbat Service beginning at 8 p.m.
In recent years, Bazyler has organized the Whittier International Law Symposium, including a program last year about stolen assets of Holocaust victims.
