LAKE FOREST
The City Council has approved repairs to the Serrano Creek Park sidewalks that were damaged during last winter’s heavy rainstorms. The repairs will cost about $302,000, but city staff members estimate that the state Office of Emergency Services will reimburse 75% of the costs.
Repairs will include 4,500 square feet of sidewalk, a wooden safety fence and stabilization of the creek bank to prevent future damage. Information: (949) 461-3400.
