STANTON
Residents are invited to join in the fourth annual St. Polycharp posada, which re-creates the journey of Mary and Joseph as they search for shelter. The procession will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 8100 Chapman Ave.
“We have the posada to remember what Mary and Joseph experienced before Christ was born. They were turned away,” said Veronica Camez, church secretary. “People continue to be turned away because of the way they look.”
