Scala Inc., an international provider of multimedia software based in Calabasas, has announced the appointments of Marc Schlechter as senior vice president of international operations and Michael J. Weaver as vice president of U.S. sales.

Before joining Scala, Schlechter was president and founder of Integrated Business Concepts Inc., an international wholesale distribution company for computer accessories. He also served as vice president of international operations for Dataproducts Corp., manufacturer of printing devices.

Weaver originally joined Scala in 1992 as a technical manager and has since held positions as eastern regional sales manager, sales and support service manager, field application engineer and Scala Studios director.

Previously, he held positions as district sales manager and regional support manager for Commodore Business Machines in Chicago.
