HOMEWORK HELP CENTERS

Share

Students who need help with homework can get free assistance after school at 17 Los Angeles County libraries that feature “homework help centers.”

The centers are geared primarily to students in elementary and middle schools, but high school students are welcome.

Each center has tutors available to help students improve reading comprehension, interpret assignments and locate research materials. The tutors also help students use computers to write reports and conduct research.

The centers are open in the afternoons and evenings. Some are available on Saturdays. Parents can call their neighborhood library for days and times.
