* Brea Mall: Police arrested two men, 19 and 36 years of age, on charges of grand theft at Robinsons-May at 10:47 p.m. Dec. 23.

* North Site Drive: A caller reported about 11:50 a.m. Saturday that a 1992 Ford Mustang was stolen from the mobile home park in the 1000 block.

BUENA PARK

* Ball Road: Someone smashed a car window and stole the car stereo; reported at 9:59 a.m. Dec. 23.

COSTA MESA

* Arlington Drive: Three jackets worth $270 were stolen from a backpack in the 900 block; reported about 12:30 p.m. Dec. 23.

CYPRESS

* Leyte Street: A man called police to report a transient sleeping on his front lawn in the 6100 block Saturday.

DANA POINT

* Edinger Avenue: A 23-year-old Santa Ana man was arrested in the 10400 block at 2:34 p.m. Saturday for alleged possession of a checkbook stolen from a local elementary school.

FULLERTON

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: Report of an auto burglary in the 2000 block at 2:17 a.m. Monday; a male broke into a gray Toyota parked in a carwash parking lot behind the victim’s apartment complex. Suspect later taken into custody.

* Main Street at Garden Grove Boulevard: A man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 12:24 a.m. Monday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Adams Avenue: Report of a man driving his car into a large trash can in the 8900 block at 1:49 a.m. Sunday.

IRVINE

* Research Drive: Report of a 1993 Jeep Cherokee stolen from the 9100 block at 9:28 a.m. Dec. 23. Vehicle was later found to have been impounded by the California Highway Patrol.

* Creek Road: Mail tampering was reported at an apartment complex at 9:32 a.m. Dec. 23.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Legion Street: A woman called police to report that her neighbor was playing his “obnoxious” music too loud in the 100 block Sunday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Laguna Hills Mall: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 24000 block at 5:02 p.m. Dec. 22.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Cabot Road: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 27000 block at 3:02 p.m. Dec. 22.

* Beach Boulevard: A woman staying at a motel in the 15000 block reported at 1:20 a.m. Monday receiving three or four calls from a man who said he had a camera in the room and was watching her. The woman wanted to leave the motel, but the clerk refused to return her money.

* Camela Street: A caller reported the license plate was pried off a car in the 4500 block at 4:27 p.m. Dec. 22.

* Yorba Linda Boulevard: A burglar broke into a salon in the 21500 block and stole $55; reported at 8:07 a.m. Dec. 22.
