Camarillo Community Bank Posts Profit Gain
Camarillo Community Bank has reported an earnings gain for the third consecutive year.
Net income for 1997 was $1.07 million or 67 cents per share, compared to $1.01 million or 63 cents per share for 1996.
Douglas M. Shearer, president and chief executive officer, said the bank concentrated on credit quality, cost controls and direct marketing of its products and services throughout the county. The bank paid out dividends of 25 cents per share during 1997.
Total assets as of Dec. 31 were $89.5 million, and shareholders equity was more than $8.3 million. Total deposits at the end of the year were more than $80.4 million.
