HUNTINGTON BEACH — Medical glove supplier MediGuard Inc. has been acquired by Medline Industries, a Mundelein, Ill., provider of medical and surgical products, Medline said Monday. Terms were not disclosed.
MediGuard, formerly known as Jason Marketing, sells examination gloves, including latex powder-free gloves and latex-free gloves.
Under the terms of the sale, Medline will assume MediGuard’s purchasing contracts and inventory and begin servicing MediGuard accounts. Medline sells more than 70,000 products to the health care community.
