KODIAK, Alaska —
All 33 crew members of a crab boat were rescued after it was struck by a cargo ship and sank in the icy Bering Sea, Coast Guard officials said Thursday.
The crew of the Seattle-based fishing boat had time to escape into life rafts before it sank and were picked up by a nearby fishing boat, an officer said. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
