Presidents Day Closings

Monday is Presidents Day. The following schedule will be in effect:

* All county and state offices will be closed.

* City offices will be closed, except in San Juan Capistrano.

* All federal offices, including federal court, will be closed.

* All county courts will be closed.

* County and city libraries will be closed.

* Banks and savings and loans will be closed.

* Schools: Orange County public schools are observing the holiday on different dates. Call your district for information. Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine will be closed, along with most community colleges. Chapman University will remain open.

* Mail: There will be no mail delivery. Post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.

* Trash: Trash will be picked up on regular schedule.

* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedule.

* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
