The benefit concert titled “It’s Gonna Take a Lotta Love . . . “ is more than a tribute to singer Nicolette Larson, who died in December at age 45. It’s a resurrection of the ‘70s Southern California singer-songwriter community, which in its prime frequently gathered for social and personal causes. On hand these two nights are Crosby, Stills & Nash; Linda Ronstadt; Bonnie Raitt, with Little Feat; Joe Walsh; Jackson Browne; the Section; and Emmylou Harris, along with affiliated artists Carole King, Dan Fogelberg and (on Saturday only) Jimmy Buffett. Proceeds will go toward UCLA Children’s Hospital and a special pediatric endowment fund.
