Nominations Sought for Top Employees
Hoping to award helpful employees, the Moorpark Kiwanis Club and the city of Moorpark are seeking nominations for their first contest to choose city employees of the year.
Residents and business owners can send in nominations until Friday for the full- or part-time city worker they think provides exceptional customer or community service.
The winners will be announced at a recognition luncheon on March 4 and will receive a plaque, dinner for two at a local restaurant and other prizes.
City Council members, commissioners, city manager and city contractors are not eligible.
Nomination forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce, city library, senior center and City Hall. For more information, call Jill Myers at 529-6864, Ext. 217, or Dave Sakata at 523-0855.
