Minister, Psychologist Accused of Abusing Son
A minister and his psychologist wife have been indicted on child abuse charges after they sent their 13-year-old son out naked on a cold, rainy night in January to discipline him, authorities said.
The boy was treated for hypothermia after he was found Jan. 17 huddled in a nearby barn and wearing a choir robe taken from the church where his father is minister, the sheriff said.
The couple was indicted Tuesday. Stephen Yeaney, 40, is pastor of Rock Springs United Methodist Church. His wife, Donna, 39, is a psychologist for the Scott County, Va., school system.
