Jay Leno, Rosie O’Donnell and David Letterman are fighting so fiercely to have members of the gold medal-winning U.S. women’s hockey team on their shows, the women may delay their long-planned Hawaii vacation to accommodate the demands.

For Lisa Brown-Miller, that might mean again delaying the honeymoon she postponed 2 1/2 years ago to attend a U.S. national team tryout camp.

And maybe not.

“My husband, John, has been a patient man,” she said, “but we have to think about this.”

Forward Shelley Looney hasn’t decided what she will do after the Olympics--or where she will live. Her belongings have been stored with a friend on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, but she might look for a job and an apartment in Boston.

“I might take the fireman’s exam,” she said. “A friend of mine told me it’s coming up and she filled out the form for me. I’m definitely a person who needs to work with people.”

She also must fit in surgery on her injured left shoulder, but she’s trying to put that off as long as possible. “As long as I can swing a golf club, I’m fine,” she said.
