Christina Briggs has joined Valley Crest, a landscape and site construction company in Calabasas, as director of national business development. She will be responsible for building new corporate accounts, especially in the hotel, resort and theme park industries.

Previously, Briggs served in a similar capacity at Rock & Waterscape Systems.

* Joanie Flanagan of Camarillo has been named director of marketing for Lighthouse Institute and Lighthouse Therapy, Trauma and Training Center in Thousand Oaks. Previously, she was Ventura County marketing coordinator for Children’s Wonderland in Agoura.
