City to Offer Free E-Mail to Residents, Workers, Students
City officials have launched a free e-mail system that is available to anyone who lives, works or goes to school in Santa Monica.
Account applications may be obtained at City Hall, public libraries or through the city’s World Wide Web site at:
https://pen.ci.santa-monica.ca.us
About 60% of Santa Monica residents have personal computers, but those who don’t may access their city-provided e-mail accounts at public libraries and schools, said Kevin McKeown, a member of the Santa Monica Telecommunications Working Group.
