Don’t Let Appearance Dictate Price of Love

Share

Regarding Matthew Okada’s letter (“Fortysomething Suitor Questions Price of Love,” Feb. 11): Would it be worthwhile to spend that $25 (least expensive date) on a woman if she were attractive?

It is my guess that Okada no longer looks 20 himself. And, why should he? Why should we expect any fortysomething to look and be something he or she is not? Why is appearance once again the single determining factor of worth?
