EMB Corp.: The Costa Mesa company, which originates home loans, said it lost $463,261, or 6 cents a share, for the first quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with a net loss of $917,954, or 17 cents a share, for the same period the previous fiscal year. Revenue grew to $1.6 million from $336,594.
