From Times Wire Reports

Miami’s besieged Mayor Xavier Suarez has threatened to pull city advertising from the Miami Herald unless the newspaper begins to treat him “a lot nicer.” In a voicemail message, Suarez said: “. . . I strongly suggest you tell . . . [Herald President] Joe Natoli that he better tell . . . [Publisher] David Lawrence to be a lot nicer to me, my people, my citizens and my city.” Suarez took office in November after ousting incumbent Joe Carollo.
