2 Meetings Set Next Week on City Charter Reform
Two public meetings on Los Angeles City Charter reform will be held early next week.
On Monday, the Los Angeles Elected Charter Reform Committee on Financial Oversight will meet at 5 p.m. Immediately following, the full committee’s board will meet to discuss budget issues at 6 p.m. The sessions are at the DWP Building, 111 N. Hope St., Los Angeles Room (Conference Center, first floor). Information: (213) 977-6700.
On Wednesday, appointed officials with the City Charter Reform Commission will discuss issue No. 10 from Road to Decision: “How Should the Proprietary Departments be Governed and Managed?” The session will be held at 6 p.m. at the DWP building, Room 1555H. Information: (213) 367-5234.
