Invitation Goof Puts Ex-Dean Back on Job

Invitations mailed out this week to businesses all over the county for UC Irvine’s annual Orange County Executive Survey featured a photo of Dennis Aigner, who is identified as dean of the Graduate School of Management. Too bad someone forgot to tell the printer that Aigner stepped down as dean on Oct. 1 and was replaced by David Blake.

Aigner, now a UCI management professor, will still preside over the event, said spokeswoman Sherry Angel. She wasn’t sure how the mistake occurred. “It’s an unfortunate error,” she said.
