General Automation Buying NCE

General Automation Inc. said it has agreed to acquire NCE Computer Group, a San Diego-based independent computer services and sales company, for about $3 million in cash and deferred payments.

The acquisition is expected to increase General Automation’s annual revenue to more than $50 million, the company said Friday. The acquisition is expected to close Feb. 9.

NCE Computer Group provides field services, depot repairs, system sales, network and cabling products and network storage management products.

General Automation, which reported revenue of $37 million for the year ended Sept. 30, provides computer systems, software and related services.
