Courses for Senior Motorists Offered
The American Assn. of Retired Persons will offer day and evening refresher driving seminars for seniors.
The eight-hour course will be held March 12 and 13 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. each day. The course will be repeated on April 6 and 7 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day.
The seminar is a comprehensive retraining course tailored to the needs of senior motorists. Upon completion of the course, participants will get a certificate from the Department of Motor Vehicles entitling them to a discount on the liability portion of their insurance policies.
Both sessions will be held at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi, and cost $8. Participants must register in advance. Enrollment is limited to 30. For information or to register, call 583-6363.
