Pina Sparks SCC Past Fresno Pacific

Amee Pina scored 16 points and Kristi Wright had 14 points and 14 rebounds as Southern California College defeated Fresno Pacific, 71-53, in a Golden State Athletic Conference women’s basketball game Tuesday at SCC.

The Vanguards (16-4, 3-0) limited leading scorer Renee Longshore to three points and outrebounded Fresno Pacific, 47-33.

Concordia 76, Point Loma Nazarene 53--Kalim Scott had 13 points and 22 rebounds and Josh Giles had 16 points and seven assists for visiting Concordia (11-9, 2-1), which held Point Loma to 23% field-goal shooting in the first half and took the lead, 41-18.
