County CEO Will Talk About El Toro Airport
Orange County Chief Executive Officer Jan Mittermeier will address the El Toro airport debate Feb. 6 at the Chamber of Commerce monthly breakfast meeting.
Mittermeier plans to discuss the 1999 closure and reuse options, including a proposed commercial airport, for the South County base.
The breakfast runs from 7:30 to 8 a.m. The presentation will follow.
Reservations are required by Feb. 4. Cost is $12 for members, $15 for nonmembers.
The event will be at the Cypress Golf Club, 4921 Katella Ave.
