Police Center Moves From The Oaks Mall

The Police Resource Center has temporarily moved from The Oaks mall to the East Valley Sheriff’s Station lobby at 2101 E. Olsen Road, volunteers said Thursday.

The resource center is staffed by members of Volunteers in Policing, who provide fingerprinting and neighborhood crime statistics, said Joel Hockman, volunteer coordinator.

The space the center occupied at the mall is being remodeled for a restaurant.

The resource center will be housed at the sheriff’s station for about six weeks until it moves to a new site on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Hockman said.
