Red Cross Leader Visits Cambodia
Anaheim Hills resident Jay Rodriguez recently spent a week in Cambodia, visiting with dignitaries and learning more about the American Red Cross’ role in international relief and development.
Rodriguez serves as board chairman for the American Red Cross’ Los Angeles chapter and is a member of the National American Red Cross Board of Governors.
During his visit to Cambodia last month, he also toured the Landmine Survivors Prosthesis Center and took part in an outreach visit to the American Red Cross Rehabilitation Center in rural Kompong Speu.
Since 1989, Rodriguez has been president of the Hafif Family Foundation, which funds nonprofit groups with a focus on serving the hungry. Before he joined the foundation, Rodriguez spent 20 years with NBC television in Los Angeles, from which he retired as vice president of corporate information.
