Cancer Society Seeking Volunteers
The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers for such tasks as driving patients to and from treatments and answering telephones at offices throughout the county.
Volunteer drivers need as little as two hours a month to spare.
Volunteers also are needed to perform general office duties such as labeling, word processing, data entry, greeting clients and fielding telephone questions from the public.
Those who want to volunteer at the Ventura office may call 644-6656. The Oxnard office can be reached by calling 983-8864. The number for the office in Thousand Oaks is 497-0114. For the Simi Valley office, call 527-5360.
