LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS
* Turf Construction Inc. in Camarillo has been awarded a contract for $224,525 from Ventura County to install water lines along Walnut Canyon Road one mile north of Moorpark city limits.
The project is scheduled to be completed Sept. 23.
* Acacia Landscape & Erosion Control in Santa Barbara has been awarded a contract for $21,936 from Ventura County to landscape the Arroyo Simi Wetland Development. The project in the city of Moorpark involves planting trees and shrubs, installing an irrigation system and maintaining it for four months.
The project is scheduled to be completed in mid-August.
