What: https://www.rugbytoday.com

Rugby is not one of the more popular sports in the U.S. But judging by one website devoted to the sport, you’d never know it.

The site, https://www.rugbytoday.com, is the most informative of any sports website I have ever stopped at along the information superhighway.

The site’s home page has some news, but not a lot of information. But clicking on ‘main menu’ at the bottom of the page takes you to rugby heaven.

First of all, there’s news, and tons of it. Whether it’s news from today, a week ago, a month ago or even years ago, it’s there.

There are also features and reports on special matches.

But the section ‘rugby resource’ makes the site superior.

There’s information for everyone from the rugby novice to the sport’s biggest fanatics: a calendar for major rugby events around the world, ticket information, a global television schedule, even addresses of bars and establishments that show rugby.

And there’s a dictionary of rugby terms and a rule book explaining differences in different types of the game. The one knock on the site is its dry look and lack of pictures.

But it is the most informative and user-friendly sports website I’ve come across.
