* The Justice Department’s antitrust division filed suit in U.S. District Court in Delaware to stop Citicorp’s $11.5-million acquisition of Gtech Holdings Corp.’s assets and contracts for electronically transferring benefits. The suit claims that the purchase must be stopped to maintain competition for EBT systems, which are used to distribute food stamp and other welfare benefits.
