Flag Day Celebration Planned Sunday

The city will host a Flag Day celebration Sunday at the Civic Center Sunken Gardens from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Westminster City Council and Elks, which will produce a tribute to the American flag including history and traditional songs.
The program will feature music from the Huntington Beach Concert Band, Nicholson Pipe & Drums and the Westminster Barber Shop Singers.
Those attending are encouraged to bring picnic lunches and chairs or blankets.
