Computer Artists Laid an Egg With ‘Godzilla’

Share

I’m extremely disappointed in the computer artists and computer programmers who have given us a colossal dud called “Godzilla.”

Again and again I’ve heard that digital artists are the darlings of the employment market, and they are in such high demand in the film industry that they can ask for any salary and any benefits they want.

In the meantime, those of us who didn’t major in computer science wonder if we’re going to be able to save enough for retirement.

So what did these digital artists give us? Very accurate special effects that are about as interesting as a high school physics experiment and a monster with as much personality as a Pentium chip.

Did any of these computer artists ever see “Jason and the Argonauts” when they were kids? Or do they only get turned on by Windows 98?
