Update--The Bullfrogs already have a problem in their new league, Major League Roller Hockey. Just before Friday night’s 12-2 victory over former Roller Hockey International rival Buffalo, the Bullfrogs found out veteran defenseman Tom Menicci had to sit out because of an error in the trade agreement that sent two players to Tampa Bay in exchange for Menicci, who was drafted by Buffalo in May. It’s unclear when Menicci will be back, according to Bullfrog spokesman Bruce Hammill. Columbus features former Roller Hockey International-standout goaltender Joe Bonvie, who played with San Jose last season. Former Sacramento defenseman Arturs Kupaks has also been picked up by the Hawks.
