Zodiac vs. Seattle Sounders
* 7:30 tonight
Site--Anteater Field, UC Irvine
Records--Zodiac 8-5, Sounders 5-4
Record vs. Sounders--1-1
Update--The Zodiac lost to the Sounders, 1-0, in the season opener at home. On June 6 in San Diego, the Zodiac won, 2-1, in the 88th minute on Eddie Soto’s goal. Zodiac defender Damon Hughes injured his rotator cuff in Wednesday’s 2-1 victory over Vancouver, but received a cortisone shot and is probable for tonight. Midfielder Brad Wilson (ankle) has missed the last three games but is expected back tonight. Seattle signed California Jaguar forward Mark Baena, the A-League’s second-leading scorer last year. Baena had scored four goals in seven games with California, but was released in a cost-cutting move. Baena has a goal and an assist in two games with Seattle.
