In S. Irene Virbila’s review of Perroche (“European Cooking with True Brits,” May 17), she writes that “even in the [San Fernando] Valley, there is life beyond seared ahi tuna and angel hair pasta with tomato and basil.” And here we thought there was life beyond Valley-bashing.
